Kindness Challenge- Before Post

RevofKindnessI’ve never done a blogging challenge before, so why now?
One: This only requires one post a week and I can choose my day (I love the lack of rules).
Two: My favorite all-time movie is Harvey. Seen it? You should.
Here’s my favorite quote from it:
“Years ago my mother used to say to me, she’d say, ‘In this world, Elwood, you must be’ – she always called me Elwood – ‘In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant.’ Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.”

I’m going to give pleasantness a try. Wanna join me?

  1. This will always be my first blogging challenge! Looking forward to it. I’d never heard of the film Harvey so thankyou for the recommendation.

  2. So honored for you to join us in this as your first blog challenge! I’m so glad that the lack of rules helped you commit to it, I didn’t want the word “challenge” to turn people away so I’m glad the flexibility is appealing 🙂 I’ve never heard of that movie, I’ll have to check it out! Can’t wait to start the journey with you tomorrow! 🙂

  3. Your theme is perfect for your blog. I wouldn’t worry about adding the time it takes to read your posts. (I saw the comments in WP1stFriday). I looked and didn’t find where it may be in my theme. Perhaps, it is conducive to the theme you are using. You can always check the WP Forum for info.

    1. Thanks! I spent so much time getting my header *just so* that I’m reluctant to change it.
But I wonder if seeing a post will take 7 minutes to read, rather than “800 more words” might gain more readers. At least it’s something to think about if I ever decide to go the self-hosted route.
And thanks for the tip. I’ll look into the forum. 👍🏼
